Chinese Pork Ribs

  • 75 g Golden Brand margarine
  • 500 g pork ribs
  • 150 ml water
  • 100 g flour
  • 30 g oyster sauce
  • 5 cloves finely chopped garlic
  • 1 ½ onion chopped in large pieces
  • 1 bundle of Kalian (Chinese leave vegetable)
  • 1 tsps. baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Marinate the pork ribs with the salt, black pepper and finely chopped garlic. Melt the Golden Brand margarine in a skillet and bake the marinated pork ribs golden brown and ready.

Add the large pieces of onion, oyster sauce, water and baking powder and let all simmer. Once the pork ribs are soft, add the Kailan vegetable. Bind the sauce with the flour.

Very delicious if served with rice and of course, a glass of pomme cythere juice!
